Things that have happened in World of Warcraft online roleplaying game that could also quite easily happen to me in real life:
1. Accidentally getting into a duel with a dwarf.
2. Shouting 'Come on, let's kill some Gnarlpines!' and running into a tree.
3. Getting a giant spider for a pet when what I really wanted was one of those cool sabre-toothed tigers.
4. Trying to wear too many cloaks at once.
5. Getting on the wrong boat.
6. Deciding not to bother with any quests, going for a walk in the woods instead, and being eaten by bears.
7. Falling off the edge of the world.

Aha! Don't put HTML in the post headline, that's the lesson learned.
just to let you know that green Wing has just started in new Zealand. Was talking to my sister (who lives there) in the weekend. She said she's loving it, but was surprised by the amount of swearing. she asked if thats allowed on telly over here....i was like - its channel 4 innit...
Mmm, it is a bit sweary. I think in series 2, we're taking it as read that that's how many people talk in real life and use the word 'fucking' less as a comma. I'm a terrible hypocrite, because when I swear, it's fine, but when gutter urchins pass me on the street, f'ing every ten seconds and calling people they pass a c**t, it makes me want to buy a gun.
Yes, it is scary how WoW blurs the line between fantasy and reality.
Shame -- the html worked in the syndicated feed title on LiveJournal. Mine is not to reason why, though.
Did you see HELP again last night? Spiffing.
It's marvellous, isn't it? Loved the long long look CL gives his receptionist as she waters the plants. Might be time to do a britcom from the receptionists point of view though...
Mmm, I asked where Billy the editor was once (he also plays the homeless chap who asks Guy for money) and was told 'He's out the back, taking out al the c**ts'.
'All the c**ts', that should be, not 'al the c**ts' who sounds more like someone with a worrying mental history.
Not to sound stupid, but did they bleep c**ts in GW then? I never heard a bleep. Sue said it once though and there were multiple references...
