A flashback scene, to be specific. And just to be very clear, this is in no way suitable for a) children or those of a nervous disposition, or 2) being viewed at work.
On the other hand, I'd quite like it if this were an inkling into how the new Doctor is going to operate...
If you haven't seen 'IN BRUGES' by the way, I highly recommend it, it's a cracking film.

Wtf? How on earth does that fit in to the film?
Great film, and, yes, could fancy a bit of that in the new Doctor Who...
I think the big ginger bloke's having a flashback, in which Matt Smith is the younger version of the Raphe(?) Fiennes character.
Now that, was a little slice of quality. And if that's a deleted scene, I have to see the stuff they kept.
Heh, thought yerself and JM might like that one - and if you haven't seen IN BRUGES, I really do recommend it, it's a cracking film, and quite writey.
Bloody heckles.
Even though that scene's not in it, I'm definitely going to give the film a look in.
Isn't Matt Smith about three feet taller than Ralph Fiennes though? I mean, I know, suspension of disbelief and all that, but we might just as well have had Freema Agyeman playing the young Harry.
Well gosh. And good heavens. I wasn't expecting that.
I shall peruse the DVD of In Bruges at the earliest possible moment, on the basis of your hearty recommendation.
I appear to have turned into Brian Blessed. Halps, pls.
Just wouldn't work in a bow tie though...
@Tim According to the interwebs they are both 5'11"
Thanks for this I was looking at the credits for In Bruges and couldn't remember seeing Matt Smith in the film
