Oh gawd, Toy-Fu isn't going the way of The Descent is it? All those tight confined spaces, the darkness (may be a way to take a break from having to hand paint each individual scene?) ...and...and...the 'ders!!???!!
I love the way the penguin-topped pencil turns with him when he faces the hole. The precise angle of the penguin relative to his body is clearly crucial. Good to see him taking his duties so seriously.
Does the penguin have a say in this? Is he really ready to face the hole? I think you should consult him first, and offer some supportive counselling for afterwards.

Oh dear. I think Steve needs to lay off the pasties for a while before he attemptes that passage.

What of the 'ders??
Steve can't go in, because he'd have to let go of the penguin-topped pencil and I don't think he's ever done that. It's almost like an extra limb.

Although now I look at it, I think it would be better if the penguin faced the hole like Steve does. It's the tube of aloe vera gel all over again.
What can I say? I'm a nit-picker ; )

Is the sort of hole that leads to an ancient prehistoric tunnel whose walls are so smooth they can only have been made by lasers?
Or perhaps it will lead to Auckland 400 years in the future....
