Finished the screenplay Monday evening, and I now intend to start a course called 'Write a Movie in Three and a Bit Days'*. Only I've strained my tendons somewhat (and had too much coffee) so although I had to finish off some storylining stuff today, I took a break this afternoon and wandered up to the castle, where there was some jousting:
and some giant owls:
My tendons are still a bit ouchy, so that'll have to do for the moment.
*Not necessarily a good movie, but still.**
**Who am I trying to kid, it's fantastic.

Ohh! An owl! Somebody post one to me!
I've been trying to fight my motherly urges but it's no good - so I'll just say this, take it easy, keep your tendons warm and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done. There, now I can go back to knitting cosies for my filing cabinets and clucking round my younger, male colleagues.
Do share a tid-bit of your new film!! Please?
(Copy-paste doesn't require much typing)
Oooh, is that Pendennis castle? I was sick up there once! (Not ill, drunk!) Is anyone else watching the live Nasa shuttle spacewalk? (Go to Nasa then nasa tv live feed)
Funkeh!
Were the owls waxed?
i like owls.
That's because owls=good.
Unless you are an mouse.
Or possibly a Brownie...
I've actually read his movie script and although it is abso - blinking - lutely marvellous, it probably isn't as good as giant owls and jousting.*
For those of us not lucky enough to live in Cornwall, it will have to do though.
*But if you were to write a script in which giant owls actually joust... ooh, that would be worth an hour and a half of anyone's time.
Bloody Hell! Just flicking channels in my usual twitchy, borderline OCD manner when I swear I saw Lou from Neighbours dressed as a dwarf and enjoying an RPG!
Did we have a cultural apocalypse while I wasn't looking?
Hello nanga. K12 agrees that the coma ending could be less cheesy, so all the himalayan mountains are now broadly arranged in the same direction, which is convenient.
But yes, jousting giant owls would be cooler. And some weasels, rampant.
Owls and weasels - together at last! I'm not sure how long the weasels would last if they were rampant, though. Probably better off being couchant lest the jousting owls spy them.
It's like the Knight's Tale with animals, isn't it? Still, anything would be preferable to Heath Ledger.
I think I meant 'broadly arraigned'. Words. Tch.
Mmm... couchant...
I did like the chick in that one though, whose name, if I remember correctly was Shannononon Sossssymyymyn. Anyway, she was very attractive and had a whole eyebrow thing going on. Paul Bettany was fab too, but I don't fancy him.
He would have made the perfect Constantine though. But the film still would have been shit. But not quite as shit.
Constantine! I saw that the other night. Pure comedy genius. One of the funniest things I've seen for years. I might have to write a post about it.
Bettany was indeed great - and as an added bonus, intermittently naked - in A Knight's Tale, but thingummyjig Purefoy definitely had the edge in the Attractive Men In This Film stakes.
Must...do...work...now.
