50 Worst Videogame Voice Acting Moments

This is truly astonishing stuff. I don't normally get the 'so bad it's good' thing, but after this, I'm wavering...

I want to quote them, but you really need to hear each for yourself. I do think whoever did the main voice for the first Assassin's Creed should have got in there though.

This just about made me cry. And only the fact that my tea was so good prevented me from spitting it across the table. Also, whoever spent the hours to find all these and stick them together should win a prize.

Is Assassin's Creed any cop? I'm deep in Oblivion at the moment, and quite fancy running around rooftops taking down people on the sly in an exotic setting.

I like it a lot, although the missions do start getting a bit repetitive after a while. Well worth a punt though, even if just for the free running bits.

That's incredible. I don't think I can pick a favourite. There's a weird camp quality to all of them.

I've just mis-read that title as "Grandma" which would have made an AWESOME concept for a computer game.

I liked "I have to stay alive, so I can finish this article before I die." I've had many days like that.

Whoever compiled that list has obviously never played The Black Mirror, though.

I think a lot of them were channelling Benny Hill in his "sirry iriot" mode.

Great blog you got here. It would be great to read more about this matter.
By the way check me out, I love you long time at www.fatrol--

--oh, sorry. Um... That was very, very funny. Sadly my juvenile mind was laughing so much at "Something's coming, oh no, I'm going to explode", I missed half of the rest of them.

I did some voices for an obscure game (I'm not going to say which one on the very unlikely offchance anyone here has ever played it). It was an English version of a German game. The translation was literal and bad, and there was no indication whatsoever of game context. So a line might have been "I see they are approaching the Church now" and the voice director would get me to do it various ways, desperately hoping that one of them would be appropriate.
I see! They are approaching the church now.
I see THEY are approaching THE CHURCH now.
I see they are APPROACHING the Church. NOW!
Iseetheyareapproaching THECHURCH NOW ha ha ha ha ha!
etc.
I wonder if some of the top 50 were a result of a similar process?

If I die, will you play Chopin in remembrance of me?

I liked the 'please don't kill me' one. But I'm sad that 'Now you dieeeeeeee!' from Morrowind is missing. I think that should be in there somewhere.
