David Cameron: Used to be in PR, shoots animals, was in The Bullingdon Club. Ew.

Apparently people are trying to suppress this photo. I can't think why. LOL!

The Adam and the Ants of politics.

  2. I dread to think what they'd have done to that lovely Diana Dors, but I think Gordon has more of the brooding New Romantic in him than he lets on, to be honest.

For the record, I'm Lib Dem, although I would quite like the party to go through a phase of pre-election de-Mingification.

  3. I've just realised, I used to know the sister of one of those strange people in the photo. (Not Dave or Bozza.) Lovely girl, considering her father owned Kent, or near as damn it.

  4. I'm a Lib Dem too (well, once I've voted for the first time; my being young and all) and I agree; despite all the Ming-ing that's going on, they're the lesser of so many evils.

The Greens are a perfect example; only bad things are green. Witches, The Hulk, peas...evil vines that grab you by the ankles and pull you underground to turn you into compost to help grow their evil, viney children...

So that's what the Black and White Minstrels looked like before going into Makeup. Say what you like about the Tories but their close harmonies are awesome.

  6. I am a very reluctant member of the Labour Party, permanently on the verge of immolating my card on a flaming copy of The Ragged Trousered Philanthropist or wedging it up Tony Blair's moral certainties.

I keep thinking, "What's the point? They're all the bloody same." And then I see a photo like that and I remember. The difference between the two is now only wafer-thin, but someone lives in that gap.

You are a Lib-Dem, James, because you come from Cornwall. And there is great honour is being one. But I just couldn't do it with any conviction. Better to vote Green I think...

  7. Voting for any party other than the Tories or Labour is a wasted vote anyway...

I say someone drafts Boris Johnson in to be PM. Or people vote like for Big Brother. Or Dancing on Ice...

Politics and Reality TV; two evils that should never be combined. *shudder*

  9. Yes, but I'm not expected to vote for you am I?

    ( I would though, obviously)

  10. Are you Scottish, Patroclus, or am I missing a beat here?

  12. any vote is a wasted vote here in Surrey - we weigh the Tory votes, rather than count them. The Legalise Cannabis chap got a couple of hundred votes last time round though.

  13. Was Boris Johnson born with that hair?
