Happy Birthday PP!

If you go over to Spoilt Victorian Child, you'll see a link to a Magnetic Fields cover of 'If I were a rich man', which I personally arranged for Stephin Merrit to play as a birthday treat for you. Or summink.*

And over at the pants press sketchblog there's a lovely/weird animation called Snobo - you need bittorrent but there's a link on the post (14th april), and I managed it, so it can't be that difficult.

Off to catch the train now.

* At a big showbiz party, where we ate pickled swan and took turns to ride a unicorn.

Thanks- am most impressed with my personal concert with Stephin- Is he your showbiz mate now as well?
Or is this a favour from Claudia? who is a close personal of yours obiviously after you bought a t-shirt from her.

Went to the ballet last night and want my own man sized tutu now.

Graham Norton and Michael Ball were in the resturant after the show with me and Mrs PP - not actually at the same table but in the same room.

Stephin Merrit keeps calling me and calling me - wants to do the musical of toy-fu. It's all just too too much darling.

I might let him compose a song about vikings though, if he really wants.

His Vikings would have angst and ennui, and wouldn't be much good for fighting- however they would probably have lovely flowery shirts and be in touch with their feelings.

Come to think of it they are most likely to be vampire vikings hanging out with Jean-Paul Sartre and his existentialist mates in early 50's Paris.

Yes! Green Wing won! Haha! I am happy now... I may have to do the conga but I'm on my own. Must rope unsuspecting toys / hoover / clothes racks etc in for it.

I was so happy when they called out 'Green Wing' and all the cast and everyone who went up looked so chuffed, and quite rightly so!

Yay for BAFTAs!

Mmm-mmm - pickled swan... I hear it tastes just like grilled koala.
Congrats, by the way.
