I wish people could blog in chorus, because what I'd like at this point is for all m'long-standing blog chums to burst into a rousing chorus of... something. Not sure what. But it would be very funny.
Maybe at home, in your own time: a-one, a-two, a-one-two-three-four....
It's very strange that such a concise blog should have generated such free-flowing responses. Have you ever done any scientific analysis of the correlation between length of blog and qhantity of comments?
I will if it means putting off any more writing for half an hour...
But yes, I think people need a blank canvas every now and then. That's why I like the 'making light' site - sometimes just a brief quote at random, followed by hundred of usually very interesting comments. Well worth checking out - although might be a bit impenetrable if you're not an SF fan...

Surely that'd be 'can we fix it?'

ReplyDelete*quickly backtracks, because I obviously don't have too much GW trivia on instant recall*
Oo-er, I didn't mean to cause some kind of emotional breakdown... whoops. Sorry.
Where were you all? There I was, bellowing 'clip, clippety-clop on the stair', and not a murmur. Jolly embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteI heard you, cello. Which was slightly worrying...
ReplyDeleteYeh, but you didn't join in, did you?

Also, Lauren, I'm sure Bob sings both lines, so everyone's right, and you all get a housepoint.
