The Library Wolves

I was going to do this whole 'now I'm back, from outer space, I just walked in to find you here, with that sad look upon your face' thing, but I googled the lyric, and it's 'you're' back, not 'I'm' back, so I shan't bother.

So, I sent this email to Laura, because I couldn't think of the name of the film in which big snow makes helicopters crash, and people hide in a library and then these wolves escape. And in the process of passing descriptions back and forth between us, what was originally The Day After Tomorrow turned into a much more exciting story called The Library Wolves, which I wrote down properly today while I should have been working. Sorry it's not better-looking, but being able to save something as a web page in the first place is already a big step, quite frankly.

I'm going to have a bit of a spring-clean of the blog later, inspired by Orbyn's site prettification, but I thought I'd post something first.

Nice. Oddly, I, too, have been thinking about libraries and their occupants... See this.

And have a nice day. Good to see you back.

Previous posts under 'old stuff' over to right. I deleted everything in a fit of pique ('d'oh!') but fortunately had it saved, so put it back on the james-henry.co.uk site (un'd'oh!) so my wise words are available for posterity. A grateful nation sighs in relief.

I don't want to get overenthusiastic, but I will allow myself a small yay.

Thanks for coming back. We missed you.

Awww. Cheers, it's nice to be back and talking rubbish again.

Yes, much assent from this quarter. Or similar.

Loved the story, very Roald Dahl, but less moralistic (which is a good thing).

There's one up the top! Just up there! And it's blue! Which requires another exclamation mark!

Of course I'm still convinced I can turn this into a Dave McKean-style cornucopia of.. beautiful designness.

Hmm. It's not going to happen, is it?

Yay, you re-enabled anonymous... loved the Library Wolves. VG, gold star.

Just watched Green Wing on a flight to New York. Got elbowed by my sister for snorting out loud and laughing too much. So thanks for that!
