Technically I'm Northern, and it's moment like this I tend towards shrugging and saying 'appen' a lot.
It will be a September baby yes, although I have a number of cunning plans for reduced childcare costs, seeing as both of us work from home, and my parents live just round the corner, the poor trusting fools.
Are there wolves round your way? Apparently children have been successfully brought up by wolves. (Try and get an Ofsted-registered pack.)
Oh, and good luck with the working from home. (*Balances laptop on pillow. Reinserts ear plugs. Puts character from one script into another due to sleep deprivation*)
it's OK when they're very little and sleep all day, and OK when they're bigger and can understand "bugger off I'm working, I only want to know if there's blood" - it's the tricky in-between years. Congratulations by the way!
Blimey! Congratulations, and things! And it does fit in with the February theme - obviously the child will need an agent, so you may as well get the query letters sent out now. Start them early, I say.
A September baby? I was one of those once. Actually, you know, it was quite nice being one of the older ones in your year. Of course, in my case, it also meant being a Virgo...
To recycle one of the comments appended to the card I got from my work colleagues when I got married: "At least this disproves what's written about you on the wall of the disabled toilet."
The WV is "fatfly", which sounds like an indie PR company.
You're going to be a daddy. Congratulations and I hope you will let the small off-spring have the Blue Cat when they make a grab for it in order to chew the ears.
Hoo! Congratulations to you both! I already got excited and gave my 'congratulations' in the real world but then thought you can't have enough 'congratulations' so I'll put it here too! Alex

Congratulations anyway.
Bloody hellfire! I can't believe you've gone all coy on us...
*Smiles knowingly*
Ah, congratulations to you both. I hope that he/she is a Bob the Builder fan and thinks that Daddy's episodes are best.
But will it be a September baby, or have you managed to save yourselves a few grand?

Also the cat - it's about time she started pulling her (considerable) weight.
Congratulations! ... And that is about all i can think of to say.

Squeal! How thoroughly exciting. And scary. And gainful-employment engendering. But mostly exciting. Congratulations!

Congrats!
It's always so nice to hear about this kind of little blue kitten stuff.
wonderful news! :-)
Rarely comment, but always read...
Congratulations to you both, what wonderful news.
Congratulations! Perhaps you can craft a new web-comic in September called 'Baby-Fu'. Obviously you'd have to take the pics while Patroclus was out.

Congratulations. And I thought most cats got neutered these days.
I can see your future, and it includes many fights over who gets to play with the vintage Legos...
Seriously, congrats. I'm delighted that two such bright, witty people are combining genes. Can't wait to see Blue Kitten's blog.
