Argh

1. Cat is sick (and worse) on floor.
2. I clean up, put various messy paper towels in binbag.
3. I change binbags, put old binbag at top of stairs.
4. Cat shreds binbag 'for a laugh'.
5. I hate cat.

IN OTHER NEWS: I'm fairly sure that Tiny UFO thing is marketing for the new Transformers movie, but the photographs are very pretty.

UFO pictures do tend to look suspiciously of their time - 1950's UFOs look like the cars of the period (all rounded and shiny), and this looks too manga influenced for me. Cute though.

ALSO: Best authorial website ever (wish I'd thought of it).

I don't seem to have got much work done today.

Miranda July is fabulous. It's a great book too, I'm reading it as we speak...sort of.

I don't think I'd heard of her before, but clearly she knows how to tell a story...

She's the mastermind behind Me and You and Everyone We Know. If there was an award for Best Kids in a Movie Ever, it would win. No contest.

Great ad for a book which I will now buy.
Back to important matters though, catsick.... always, alarmingly, larger than it should be and often poo-shaped.

No. Her (Miranda July's) thumbs are far too long.

what a fabulous ad - will never look at a cooker again in the same light!

What's worse than cat sick, dare I ask?

I love Miranda July too. That film is fantastic but not quite as good as that lovely website. Yay!

What I want to know is how come my cat is hanging out at your place?

I'm convinced to buy that book based on that ad - great stuff.

I like 1890s UFOs.

I went to buy it today, but couldn't find it in Waterstone's. Score another one for Amazon...

Re cat, at times like this, I'm really grateful for the fur allergy in our house. It's a blessing, it really is.

I have had dealings with that cat and its litter tray. You have my sympathies.

loving the new tagline - i spent a good half hour at work yesterday looking at icanhascheezeburger to cheer myself up from despairing at the drudgery that is office life. in fact, i might craft an 'i can has promoshun?' sign for my desk.

Thanks for the Miranda link, that is hilarious.
For those of you looking for more LOL cat stuff, loosely related is LOLTrek (just google it) and these philosophers are quite good too.
