emails please

Yes, well, unseemliness in a Falmouth park now at an even lower priority than before.

To my many friends in London - if you're doing a round robin 'I'm okay' email, can you (obviously) put me on it? I know cello's office is close to one of the affected areas, but I haven't worked out other people's* yet. In fact I don't want to, I just want to know everyone's okay.

Update:

PP (codename 'Adam') has checked in, and is fine, and Pash says in her blog post she's heard from cello, and she's ok too. Blogs are, frankly, brilliant.

* Is this apostrophe in the right place? It's annoying me now. As well as terrorists, obviously. But I'm not going up to London until Sunday, so currently it's apostrophes.

Hello, I', glad you're alright. I've spoken to Patroclus and she's alright, and Pashmina has made a blog post so she's OK too. But then you may know that already.

Just seen that this very second - thanks for letting me know though.

That's ok! My pleasure.

To all of you in and around London we're thinking of you up here - that sounds horribly trite - but it's true.
I don't know what else to say.

the atmosphere in central london is very strange - lots of people of the 2000 in my office (nr tottenham court rd), are wondering how to get home. but we have been advised to stay put.

that's what we've been told too. I think that must be official guidelines sent to head honchos, or something, though we will probably be allowed to leave early. Car pools and spare beds are being centrally co-ordinated. Sometimes working for a very large organisation is quite comforting.

[sorry, that was me - can't allow a typo to get past]

I heard some people in London schools are being kept there - hope they'll be able to get home soon. Imagine being stuck in a school all night.

think we're all going to be let out soon - only a 4 mile walk to get home - much closer than a lot of other people

Yeah my school wouldn't let us out at lunch time or anything (I mean, who is really going to come and blow up New Cross??) so we all got a bit annoyed. But yeah, I'm fine and everyone I know is fine.

our school let us leave at around lunch time since we're fairly close to central london. getting home was a nightmare though. glad for everyone who is OK.

Magic. Wow, it felt like central command here.

Can't stand watching the telly though - seems voyeuristic in a way that reading updates on blogs, or news sites or wikipedeia doesn't.

Glad everybody I know seems to be okay.

No, it should read: "other people's yet".

People, of course, already being plural.

At least, I think that's how it should read! If it was me, I would re-write the whole sentence to avoid using the confounding item. ;-)
